Nexus Pheromones cologne is another mass marketed pheromone product with hefty marketing campaigns designed to lie, cheat, and steal people out of their hard earned money.
And like the many pheromone product scams before it, the manufacturer uses every other “red flag” in the book that indicates Nexus pheromones is pure garbage.
Such as…
- Using studies on pheromones to try and give their specific product credibility (just because we know a pheromone molecule works, doesn’t mean that the specific product for sale works).
- Unbelievable hype and BS artistry (I’ll show you a few snippets from the sales page below).
- That stupid “20/20 twins experiment” video, where twins use pheromones – one with them, and one without. This is used by every other scam vendor as well, such as Pherazone, Pherlure, PherX.
This is another product I had managed to get a hold of in my early days of testing…
I should have known better, but being new, and unexposed to how many quality products were available, I fell a victim to the scam called Nexus pheromones.
But before I begin on the actual product review (which is pretty minimal anyway), one of the main reasons I even bother writing reviews on scammy products like Nexus is because people may end up finding my reviews.
That way, people will avoid the product, and actually invest their money on products that work, from high quality vendors.
Anyway, if you haven’t already read my article on spotting pheromone scams, go ahead and read that in case I haven’t covered a specific product.
Usually, there are a few easy indicators that should tell you right off the bat if a manufacturer is lying or overly hyping up their products.
“Imagine endless, beautiful women suddenly approaching YOU!…
… they’re suddenly smiling, flirting, touching, asking YOU out, and being way more open and sexually responsive to your slightest advances!”
No, I’m not making this up – this is actually on their sales page (among other snippets of bullshit).
Even if I did give Nexus pheromones “benefit of the doubt”, the product still fails to deliver on ANY of their promises.
It usually goes without saying, that if a product ends up on my “scam” section, it’s probably worthless. Some vendors do use this type of marketing that work (such as True Pheromones), but most of the time, you should skip it if they’re hyped up like this.
During my early days of testing with this product, I can say that it had VERY hit or miss effects – and we’re most likely placebo.
After I got more experienced with pheromones, I realized that most of the “hits” I thought I received were just people being normal – and nothing really out of the ordinary happened.
But it’s not just me either – even people who bought this product through Amazon were very disappointed.

WARNING: There are also “5 Star” reviews… but the majority of them come from non-verified purchases.
As you can see above, there is a “verified purchase” label just above the reviews.
However, if you bother to look up the product (waste of time anyway), you will see that the majority of high ratings come from anonymous accounts.
The most likely explanation? Shills.
Shills are becoming a huge problem. They are simply hired trolls on the internet that post positive things about products… even if it’s not true.
This is also common on the Pherotalk forums, where a user named “mobocaster” is hyping up products, answering queries, and making recommendations 24/7.
If you don’t work there, there is absolutely NO reason to spend hours every day on a forum posting about pheromones…
You would be out there actually using them.
Anyway, before I get side-tracked, let’s talk about their highly questionable “marketing” strategies.
Like many scams, such as Pherlure, Nexus pheromones also BLATANTLY lies in people’s faces.
Making unrealistic promises of having beautiful women approach you, putting in no effort, and more…
Basically, selling you “the dream”.
Everybody wants a push button solution to all their problems – but we all know that doesn’t exist.
Here’s just a small snippet of their sales page:

If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance… baffle them with bullshit.
Nexus also goes a step further than other blatant scammers, by attempting to use a bunch of pseudo-science rubbish in order to convince potential customers.
Take this for example:

… and it goes on and on. While there is truth to pheromones working, they try to spin the truth into something far more complicated than it sounds.
NOBODY, and I mean nobody in the pheromone community has heard anything about the “releaser effect”. There are “releaser” pheromones, but its talking about what pheromones are, and making it sound like its something that only “they” have the secret to.
Once again, Nexus pheromones proves that they are simply masters at the art of spin – taking ordinary things and making them sound magical.
The effects they are talking about is covered in this human pheromones summary, and it’s what scientists are still debating over.
Whether the vomeronasal organ still works, and why people respond to pheromones, and whether pheromones actually do anything at all.
Nexus attempts to hijack legitimate studies in order to give their product credibility.
On the sales page, they claim that:
“The Nexus Pheromones™ blend is the result of over 12 years of cumulative research, including input from the award-winning human sex pheromone scientist James Vaughn Kohl, Director of Product Development for the FDA-registered, cGMP-compliant manufacturing facility where Nexus Pheromones™ is blended and bottled.”
Now James V. Kohl is an actual scientist in the field of pheromones and I believe some endocrinology.
However, he only sells very basic formulations and his product line is FAR exceeded by others on the market.
With that said, his studies also need to be taken with a grain of salt, because I personally believe that they are manufactured to favor products that he sells on his own websites.
And also, associating himself with a blatant scam such as Nexus makes me even more skeptical about trusting his “studies”.
I’ll talk about JVK in the future, but for now, it’s time to wrap it up.
Nexus pheromones violates every "red flag" in my pheromone scam spotting guide. Although they go the extra mile, and try to provide some credibility to their product by listing ingredients, and their known effects, the end product still fails to deliver any kind of reasonable effects. You would think that after all the rubbish promised on their sales page, they would atleast TRY to offer something halfway decent - but like many other scammers, they don't. So there you have it – another scam ticked off the list.
Nexus pheromones fail to deliver on ANY of their promises, and make NO attempt to even offer a product that atleast does something.
As time goes on, I will be doing more of these expose’s on companies that are relying on blatant lies and hype in order to sell more products.
I’ve had enough, you’ve had enough, and it’s about time the hammer dropped on them.
And because House Of Pheromones is becoming popular pretty quickly, it’s important that it retains its credibility among the many other “review” sites out there.
As you know from previous reviews on scam products (such as Pherlure and Pherazone), there are websites out there that recommend this highly, simply because they will get paid a hefty commission on sales.
Just take a look at this bullshitter below (this guy has also written fake reviews about other scammy products too)…
It’s sad really – I imagine there are THOUSANDS of people who have been scammed in the past.
That’s why it’s my goal to shut them down and help you make proper, informed decisions before you buy ANY pheromone product.

I would strongly recommend sticking to vendors who are trustworthy, like those I recommend.
Just a few of the vendors I recommend include Pheromone Treasures, PheromoneXS, and Alpha Dream.
But if you do decide to “go off the reservation” and explore, it becomes a lot more risky and you may end up wasting your time and money.
Do Nexus pheromones work?
Unfortunately Nexus did not deliver on its promises on the sales page, and failed to produce the type of results we’re used to seeing with genuine quality pheromone formulas.
Which pheromones work the best?
Some of the most effective pheromones (on a technical level) are the ones that have been studied in clinical trials, such as androstadienone, androstenone, and androstenol. However, if you are looking for a complete pheromone formula, this list has my most recent recommendations.
Where do you buy Nexus Pheromones?
Nexus is available on their official website, Ebay, Amazon, and most likely 3rd party resellers.
How much does Nexus pheromone cost?
The average retail price seems to be somewhere between $49-$59 USD.
