Heaux Cosmetics has popped into the pheromone scene over the past 1-2 years and has seemingly taken over the social media sphere (particularly on TikTok). But is it “just hype”, or does it really offer something new and exciting to experienced (or new) pheromone enthusiasts?
Whenever a new vendor or product hits the market, it’s best to take it with a grain of salt, and ensure it’s not just a “fly-by-night” operation designed to take your money in exchange for a low quality product.
I decided to do some research into their Heaux Cosmetics pheromone products, which consists of several variations:
- Liquid Finesse (Unisex)
- Essence Of Ecstasy (Unisex)
- Habitué Provocateur (Attracts Men)
- PleasHER (Attracts Women)
There are also several combinations of Heaux Cosmetics pheromones, which are sold together:
- Cuffing Season Combo (Attracts Men). This contains the “Liquid Finesse” and “Habitué Provacateur” products together. To simplify, this is the product for males + the unisex product.
- Cuffing Season Combo (Attracts Women). This contains “Liquid Finesse” and “PleasHer” products together. Again, this is a combination of the female product in the collection + the unisex product called “Liquid Finesse”.
- CEO Secrets Kit (Unisex). This contains both the unisex products from the Heaux Cosmetics collection together (Liquid Finesse and Essence Of Ecstasy).
- Entrapment Kit. Contains all 4 products from the Heaux Cosmetics product line.
I recently write about the influx of viral pheromone products on TikTok, which was a warning about the endless supply of overpriced, underpowered pheromones flooding the market.
And yes, Heaux Cosmetics pheromone colognes & perfumes falls squarely into this category.
I had ordered all of the products earlier this year, and recently gave them the “sniff test”. I have thoroughly tested them over the past few months. As expected, there was absolutely nothing special about the products, and although some had barely noticeable effects, was nothing to write home about.
I also had female friends test the products for women, but they didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary (in fact, some of them felt embarrassed want to because they felt it was a cheap & nasty perfume with an overly strong hand sanitizer smell).
In a moment, I will talk about each of the products and review them.
But before we even get to that, there is one thing I found absolutely shocking about this particular product line…
The products are EXTREMELY overpriced, especially considering how ineffective they are.
Some of the prices are completely outrageous for the minimal quantity of pheromones you’ll receive.
For example, the “Liquid Finesse” product, offers a 5ml sprayer for the INSANE price of $57 USD (at time of writing). To compare, 7.5ml of “Liquid Trust” by Vero Labs (essentially the same thing – the core driver is oxytocin), costs only $20.
There are many examples of outrageous price gouging through the entire Heaux Cosmetics pheromone line. However, to make a point — here’s another doozy:
The “PleasHER” product for women contains only 3 very common pheromones (androstenone, androstenol, and androstadienone).
It comes in a 10ml roller format which retails for a jaw-dropping $145!
Now lets compare to a product like ND Mood by S1CK Jewelry which retails for approximately the same price, but contains a much more complex mix of 7+ pheromones. And not only that, contains 2OZ (approx 60mls — 6x more product) , plus created by a proven expert in the art of pheromone formulations.
It costs 6x MORE than the best rated pheromone perfume for women at this current time!
Needless to say…
Heaux Cosmetics is one of the greediest cash grabs I’ve ever seen the pheromone colognes & perfumes market.
In the review section of this article, I’ll cover each product and their ingredients. But the product I just mentioned (Liquid Finesse), is a product that only contains oxytocin as a core ingredient. And it is is largely ineffective for long periods of times and in general with its need to be in close proximity to your target.
This was truly shocking to me, especially considering there are far better alternatives.
Below, I will break down each of the products available and the results from each one.
Liquid Finesse (Unisex Pheromone) by Heaux Cosmetics Review:
Liquid Finesse by Heaux Cosmetics is supposed to be a unisex product designed to enhance closeness, deepen relationships, and increase attraction. It’s core ingredient is oxytocin (more details here), and probably has microdoses of androstenone/androstenol in it as it is a unisex product. If it was weighted too heavily with androgen pheromones, it would skew too much for men or women.
This product also comes in oil and sprayer format, with the latter being cheaper… however, there is really no point to buying this product in the first place as you’ll shortly find out:
As an experienced pheromone enthusiast of over 10 years, I have experimented extensively with oxytocin, and have always found it finicky. And in the case of “Liquid Finesse”, it’s no different – oxytocin just isn’t a great molecule for pheromone products (and it’s technically not even a pheromone).
This is due to it’s heavy molecular weight, which means it will diffuse at a MUCH faster rate than andro- type steroidal pheromones.
Considering the extreme price of this product, I gave it a fair shake, but found nothing particularly interesting about it. It had no effects, and even in close proximity, didn’t notice anything on friends, fwb’s, or strangers.
Description:
This is a secret weapon that’s meant for everyone. It’s the same great product you know and love, but now it’s available as an oil, so you can enjoy a longer-lasting effect than our classic roll-on formula. Experience emotional closeness, ease anxiety, and win people over with help of the oxytocin formula of our best-selling calming oil. It’s a best-kept secret amongst highly persuasive people for a reason.
Open up a new story of magic and imagination with our newly added fragrance, which can be layered with other secret weapons to construct a customizable, special sillage made just for you. A pastiche of reference points guides the scent of Liquid Finesse, with provocative notes of Sicilian lemon, apple, cedar, and bellflower. You’ll find notes of bamboo, jasmine, and white rose that linger and play with hearty musk and amber to encapsulate the scent of seduction in our calming oil.
Summary: Liquid Finesse by Heaux Cosmetics is a complete and total dud, in every sense of the word. Save your money here and spend it on a product created by proven vendors that actually know what they’re doing.
Essence Of Ecstasy (Unisex Pheromone) by Heaux Cosmetics Review:
As I was reading the description of this product, it became very clear to me that the owner/manufacturer of Heaux Cosmetics have absolutely no idea what they’re talking about, and should have no business trying to sell these products. Mentioning that it’s “2x stronger” than their original formula tells me that its nothing but an absolute cash grab. A real high quality vendor doesn’t make these types of claims – they tell you exactly how much pheromones it contains.
I’ll post the description below, but it is basically the same thing as their other unisex product “Liquid Finesse” – an oxytocin base, along with maybe some other typical pheromones likes androstenol/androstenone, but with a different scent.
The reason many of these companies DON’T use a high quantity of pheromones, is because inexperienced users will often think “more = better”, when anyone who has done serious research will know this is not the case.
But I digress. The insanely high price for this product, combined with a pheromone-like substance (oxytocin) with a tiny sprinkle of actual pheromones… this had almost no effects out of the ordinary when using it.
Description:
Our new and improved formula is 2x stronger than our original. We have also added a faint unisex fragrance that can still be paired with any perfume. If you love our original Essence of Ecstacy, this will be your new favorite!
Our newest Secret Weapon designed to bring you into the ultimate feeling of ecstasy. Oxytocin for relaxation, a testosterone based pheromone to boost energy with a lavender oil base for pleasant and calming effect. It is the ultimate combination of our two best selling products Liquid Finesse and Habitué Provocateur.
Summary: Essence Of Ecstasy by Heaux Cosmetics is another complete dud in their pheromone product line up. There was no extended eye contact, touching, flirtatiousness, or anything like that. For an outrageous $145 for a 10ml roller of a product, your money is best spent elsewhere.
PleasHER (Attract Women Pheromone) by Heaux Cosmetics Review:
Now this is where I thought I would finally be able to have some fun. One thing I do with my testing is that I will deliberately not look at the formula ingredients first. This is the best way to provide an unbiased review and rate my experiences accurately. However, with this product, there still almost no perceptible difference using it or not. What I will say is that some women found it pleasant, but if you have tested quality products, you mostly ignore these as you can get similar reactions from a quality fragrance – with or without pheromones.
PleasHER is probably the one that annoys me the most about this product line. Because it not only doesn’t work AT ALL, it also contains 3 pheromones that are usually very effective (androstenone, androstenol, androstadienone).
Earlier I stated that the creator of these products has absolutely no idea how pheromones actually work, and likely just put a minimal amount (or possibly nothing) into them, and then run complete rubbish marketing campaigns in order to sell cheap colognes and perfumes as “pheromone” products… this allows them to charge sky-high prices for garbage without raising too many eyebrows.
It could also be the fact that these 3 pheromones are not carefully balanced, as it requires extensive testing from highly perceptive people to really “tune” them to perfection… it’s clear that none of that happened in the development of the PleasHER pheromone product.
Description:
This intriguing formula contains 3 powerful pheromones each with a unique quality to boost a woman’s sex drive and attraction to whoever is wearing it — even if it’s herself. This formula replicates the powerful sex pheromones from a man’s saliva, sweat glands, and reproductive organs that stir a woman’s primal desires. Expressed through aromatics and unexpected blends of hormones designed to increase attraction between you and the world around you, our roll-on pheromones are a celebration of pure, uninhibited freedom.
Summary: While PleasHER by Heaux Cosmetics did have some minor effects, they could easily be written off as normal occurances. The difference between overpriced, ineffective “pheromone colognes” like this and top-tier products from the likes of S1CK Jewelry, Alpha Dream, Pheromone Treasures etc is obvious: You can tell very quickly when the products are hitting, because the reactions will be way crazier and out of the ordinary. PleasHER is just not that effective, even though it MAY have effects for some people. Rating: 2/10.
Habitué Provocateur (Attract Men Pheromone) by Heaux Cosmetics Review:
For this review, I had a female friend who is now quite experienced with pheromones test this on myself as well as men in different environments, including work, bars and nightclubs, and general life. My female friend has used products from many of the top tier vendors recommended at House Of Pheromones and has gained a keen eye for detail and observing the powerful effects of pheromones for women on men.
I will first talk about my experiences being exposed to Habitué Provocateur:
While my friend (or FWB to be more accurate) is very attractive, I didn’t notice anything particularly out of the ordinary. This product claims it is a combination of copulins (which does have known effects) and androstenol, a well known pheromone that can increase quantity and quality of communication.
One thing I will note is that I did notice “smoother” or more well rounded conversation, however my attraction to her remained relatively the same. The scent itself wasn’t amazing and smelled like cheap pharmacy perfume.
Description:
Inspired by sensual, naturalistic tendencies, our pheromones to attract men are for those that want to defy the norm — and dare to be bold. Experience an unparalleled sense of provocation, sensuality, and sex appeal with our rare combination of steroidal love scent pheromones scientifically proven to affect and entice a male’s brain. Now with a delightfully subtle unisex fragrance, our bestselling sensual aromatherapy pheromones have a 2x greater potency than our original bestselling formula.
Seduce him with our delightful fragrance made with a sensual mixture of copulins and androsteNOL, designed by former high-class escort and entrepreneurial visionary, Lydia Dupra. This is a weapon of mass seduction — our love scent pheromones have been used by professional provocateurs worldwide to melt the heart of any man.
Summary: This product is yet another overpriced disappointment and preys on women that trust the creator of this product line, Lydia Durpa. While doing my research, I also found that she is a former sex worker, and also has a very sketchy business past according to some posts I found (unpaid bills, ripping off customers etc). I will not speak too much on this as the evidence is thin, but in the next sections I will provide some 3rd party reviews — in case these first hand reports weren’t enough to persuade you to avoid Heaux Cosmetics altogether.
There are also countless 3rd party reviews on Reddit, as well as complaints from the Better Business Bureau claiming the products don’t work or didn’t even arrive.
“I finally tried heaux cosmetics after all the crazy reviews ive been seeing on tiktok. And idk if my package was faulty but every single product i got smelled like straight rubbing alcohol/hand sanitizer. I still wanted to give it a chance since i dont completely understand the science behind these pheromone perfumes so I tried Liquid Finesse, didnt see a difference in how others approached me. My friend tried PleasHer, same thing zero difference. I still have to try my Habitué Provocateur but i think i already know by now whats gonna happen; NOTHING. Please let me know if you’ve had a similar experience or if unlike me your products actually work”
This one is particularly disgusting (Lydia apparently used them on her autistic son):
“I have tried Liquid Finesse but it doesn’t make any difference at the club tbh. Might be too platonic of a pheromone. I did try the free sample of Essence of Ecstasy that came with it and I’ve definitely had customers tell me I smell so good during dances. So go with the more sexual one.
I did get an email one time from them that really weirded me out tho. It was some shit about someone using the pheromones on her autistic son to get him to give her more affection (which he probably isn’t normally comfortable with, so it seems like some sort of sensory manipulation.) It was giving emotional incest.”
From the same page:
“I have tried the one that’s oxytocin. I think it’s liquid finesse. I didn’t experience too much of a difference in how other people treated me, but it did make me feel panicky (which I’m ok with, cause it’s a known side effect)”
There are around 22 complaints on the BBB website about Heaux Cosmetics:
You can read them all here.
These product reviews and complaints should make you never want to spend a dime with Heaux Cosmetics, and never trust a companies word – especially when it comes to products like pheromones.
Anyway, as I was doing some research into this, I came across some other interesting information.
Let’s talk about the founder:
Lydia Dupra (founder of Heaux Cosmetics) has a shady past according to some reports.
Before we dive into some of what I found, this is a snippet from the website:
“Heaux Cosmetics is the brainchild of Lydia Durpa, a former elite escort, and world-famous adult entertainer. Lydia realized early on that with the right philosophy, manpower, and vision, success is simply inevitable — and soon Heaux Cosmetics came to be. What started as an extension of her diverse career and highly-sought-after expertise in the adult industry has now made her a key figure for those who value connection, love, and a higher quality of life.”
Would you trust a former “elite escort” to create high quality, carefully balanced pheromone colognes and perfumes?
Probably not.
I don’t judge people’s past lives.
But this is simply proof that the founder of this company doesn’t particularly care about the nuances and years of research trusted vendors put in to create their pheromone products…
And you can also be certain they aren’t worth anywhere near the prices Heaux Cosmetics is charging.
During my research into Lydia Dupra, I also found out that she’s racked up quite a few enemies too.
She’s apparently a sex work grifter on Reddit who has apparently ran a human trafficking scheme (more info about that in the source), and has sold rubbish courses/mentorship to aspiring sex workers. She used to sell a course called “The Complete Guide To Escorting”.
Turns out, she’s most likely lying about her lavish lifestyle too (which would be great if its true — because she has obviously made a TON of money selling low quality pheromone products, as well as actual cosmetics that have ming-boggling price markups).
And most likely, these kinds of videos are completely made up too (this is Lydia Dupra):
This guy is without a doubt, making the worst possible decision he will in his life. Hopefully he comes to his senses…
Anyway, here is further proof from Reddit about Lydia’s shady past in this field. Heaux Cosmetics isn’t her first rodeo:
“Did anyone see Pilar’s IG story highlight finally exposing tf out of our fav grifter?? She allegedly owes Pilar a fuck ton of money, is faking her millionaire lifestyle, shady business practices, and just so much more. I saw people on here wondering why they fell out so figure I’d encourage any fellow chismosas to grab a snack and a bev, and get into this piping hot teaaaa.”
“Pilar isn’t a jaded mentee, Pilar was the COO I believe of Lydia’s cosmetics company heaux cosmetics. I personally believe sex work is so dangerous in nature that anyone selling courses for hundreds and even thousands of dollars are overvalued and unhelpful to a considerable chunk of sex workers. Im not here to argue or change anyone’s mind, but someone faking a lifestyle to peddle stupid courses is not an ally to me or my community.”
She has clearly built a rap sheet of scamming in the adult industry too:
The truth about Heaux Cosmetics is that its a marketing business, not a cosmetics or pheromone business.
These types of viral TikTok pheromone reviews are nothing but a grift, perpetuating the stereotype that pheromone colognes & perfumes are a scam.
Heaux Cosmetics: Final Summary & Review
This was a very disappointing waste of money. For the prices they are charging, I was atleast hoping to get 1-2 products that were atleast somewhat useful, with a simple combo of basic pheromones like androstenone, androstenol, and androstadienone. However, after using them, I can safely say that none of the products performed well, and are just cheap, repackaged generic pheromones. Do not trust the TikTok reviews and "influencers" pushing this garbage.Heaux Cosmetics Pheromones Review
Liquid Finesse
Habitué Provocateur
PleasHER
Essence Of Ecstasy
Nowhere near worth the $
If you are a woman reading this, I would highly recommend you to read about real pheromone perfumes for women that have been vetted by experts. There are simply way too many products out there to choose from, and 99% of them are absolutely useless — not to mention, massively overpriced.
Thank you for reading.
